Moore steps

Hello All!!
As you all know by now we are moving to Thailand. What?? Really? Yes really. The process is long and has a lot of twist and turns. It also seems that just when we have made a decision about the move we have to change it do to the information of the day. I would like to keep everyone informed and have a way to stay in touch when we leave. (Thanks AJ)

I will do my best to update everyone. I am also hoping you all will post your comments and stay in touch with our family. So where are we now? Mostly confused and drowning in paper work. Last week we started the process of getting our physicals and passports together. How much fun was that you ask? Well let me tell you.....not at all fun!!! Try telling 4 boys that there will be shots and lab work in a moving vehicle. Not my best decision!!! However they handled it like champs. Even when I had to take Keegan back because they forgot to order a test. Of all the boys it had to be him. All of their results are back and the forms were filled out and sent to D.C. My form was filled out only to find out there were more test to take. So I will go back tomorrow. Once we have all that done and accepted we will move on to our next step.
Our plan as of this moment is to let the boys finish the school year and then go back to Iowa for 2-3 weeks while our stuff is shipped to Thailand. We still do not have an exit date for Paul. He just turned in his passport to get his diplomatic passport and that could take up to 6-7 weeks.
How are the boys handling it? Well that depends on the day and the boys mood. They are all over the place. They will miss all of their friends and it will be hard for them to go. But they are really looking forward to their new adventure. Especially Conner!. Yes, AJ someone told him about the LIZARDS!!
So that is all I know for now. We would love to hear from you all. Don't be shy with the questions. It might be something I have not asked yet and might need to know.
