Hi Everyone
Its 5 am here and I have been up since 4. It is a little harder than I thought to get used to the time change. The Boys and I are settling in and getting familiar with everything. Paul has kept us very busy since we arrived. The people we have meet have been very nice and accommodating. We have a pool, tennis court basketball court, sauna, 7- eleven, beauty parlor, dry cleaners, and a commons area all included in our building. Its all downtown Bangkok. Its a very nice place for the boys to stay active. Saturday we went swimming then downtown to one of the markets to look around. First day the boys were learning Thai and making deals with the people on the street. Paul took us to dinner at a German Thai place. Great food. Its right around the corner from our house. Sunday Paul hired a driver so we could go to the store and Mall to get some supplies. The mall was huge 8 floors of shopping. Then we went to another market away from our house. Boys loved it. They were speaking more Thai and making their own deals. We saw alligators, hedgehogs lizards and puppies. You can pretty much buy anything here. We also bought a flat screen TV for the condo at the Mall. We figured it was about 4-5 hundred less than in the states. No Tax. Today we are headed down to the Embassy for processing. Then take a tour and order more furniture. They put just the basic stuff in our condo and they have more we can order.
We still have not received any of our things that we shipped over. Paul is still working out his status here so our air shipment could be here but they won't release it until they get everything worked out. I had the phone and camera equipment sent over on air freight so I would be able to call and send pictures so as soon as that is all worked out I will post pictures and call all of you in the middle of the night!!!
Well the boys are all waking up and asking for food. We are still waiting to see what happens with Jordan's stomach. He is the only one brave enough to eat from the street vendors. He made sure he learned the words for pork and chicken. At least that's what they said it was!! I will keep you posted. The boys are making wagers on when he will blow!! Gotta love having boys.
